found a tool that builds PowerPoints. I made this deck with it so you can see.
Meet your Resident. A real person inside your company.
Someone whose job is to make your company curious about AI.
Mistral just released a new model. It's European, which could matter for our clients in Europe.
I'm digging into what that means and I'll come back to you.
does that change anything for us?
good question, I'm checking and I'll come back to you today.
just found this and it's absolutely nuts lol
they're getting a model to generate a playable 3D scene while you move through it. still pretty janky, but watch the video: it explains where this is heading better than any post about "world models".
your Sales team will want this: it turns a messy call into a clean recap.
Customer wants a pilot in Q4. Worried about data.
Next step: send security note
I'll share a prompt you can paste.
can it help me with this spreadsheet? my numbers look off
sure! send me the question and I'll show you how I'd do it.
You don't have to keep up with AI. That's our job.
- Discover
You'll see the AI things worth seeing.
- Ask
There's always someone to ask.
- Try
When something sparks an idea, we'll help you try it.
Not a newsletter. A person you can ask.
Ask anything. Human response within one business day.
Most companies give their employees an AI tool and expect them to become AI-native. It doesn't work.

- “feels like AI slop”
- “I'm embarrassed to ask”
- “who do I even ask?”
- “I can't keep up”

could this work for prototypes?
good question! prototypes are a great place to try it, and for production I'd wait a little since it's still early. I'll send you two things you can actually try today.
@Jamie same question for the design team, can you include us?
It remembers what you asked
And you can ask the questions you'd rather not ask out loud.
Mention the Resident in the channel or write privately. A private question comes back to the channel only without a name.
@Mike this is exactly what you asked me two weeks ago, and it just got a lot better
someone asked me what's the difference between a model and a chatbot. here's the short version for everyone.
dumb question: what's the difference between a model and a chatbot?
not dumb at all, I get this one a lot. I'll write you a proper answer today.
if it's useful I'll share it with the channel, without your name.
A person went through the weirdest corners of the internet so your team doesn't have to.
Every post is picked by a person. Some days there is nothing worth posting, and that is fine.
got tired of every deck looking different, so I made a little Claude plugin. now they all come out the same, and they look good.
tell me if I'm biased
or forget PowerPoint: ask for the deck as a web page. you send a link and nobody has to install anything.
was watching how support routes these requests and thought: there's a spot right in the middle where an AI could sit.
want me to sketch it? no promises it's a good idea, that's what the sketch is for
big lab announcement today, lots of noise.
This does NOT affect you, ignore it. I read it so you don't have to.
WTF AI Friday: 15 min of absurd stuff.
send me your "can AI do this?" challenges all week and on Friday I'll try three live. yes, some will fail
@Mike, this is exactly what you asked me two weeks ago, and it just got a lot better
an AI agent played a video game for two hours straight and I did not expect to be this invested lol
watch the first five minutes, then tell me you didn't keep watching
your Sales team will want this: it turns a messy call into a clean recap.
I'll share a prompt you can paste
someone made a whole album with AI and half of it is actually good
three minutes, headphones on
a prompt you can paste today: "Summarise this call in five bullets and list the next steps."
tell me what it gets wrong, that's the fun part
someone asked me if they're allowed to use AI for client emails.
short answer: it depends on your policy, so ask your policy owner. I'll write up the longer version
Thursday: five amazing things plus two built by you
no 57-slide deck, I promise

Questions people ask
What is a Resident?
A real person who joins your company's Slack or Microsoft Teams to make your people curious about AI. They share the AI things worth seeing, answer questions and help people try things.
How is this different from an AI newsletter or bot?
A person picks every post, writes every word and answers every question. Nobody gets a bot in a person's place. Employees can reply or mention the Resident and get a written answer within one business day.
Does it work in Slack and in Microsoft Teams?
Yes, both. The Resident joins as an external member (Slack Connect, or a Teams shared channel or guest). There is no app, bot or integration to install.
How often does the Resident post?
Up to three to five curated posts a week, never padded. Some weeks there are fewer, because nothing is posted to fill a quota.
Does the Resident use AI?
Yes, as a tool: to find and filter news, to analyse, and to make graphics and demos. When an AI-made thing is the point, we say so. A person writes every post, answer and DM.
Can employees ask private questions?
Yes, by direct message on the Resident and Partner plans. The sponsor sees totals, never who said what in private, and a private question comes back to the channel only without a name.
How does the pilot work?
Three months on the Resident plan, starting the week after signing, with no integration or technical setup. At the end of month 3 you decide: upgrade or stop. You get an AI Culture Report and a recommended plan.
What does the Resident not do?
We propose and your team builds. We give no legal advice, we take no client data by default and we do not promise AI Act compliance.
Who pays for the recommendations?
Only our clients. We take no commissions, sponsorships or payments from the tools we talk about, so we recommend what we think is best for you.
How much does it cost?
The plans and prices are in the Prices section of this page. Larger teams, events, hackathons and anything custom are quoted per project.
Need something else?
Workshops, challenges, a sprint on one idea. Tell us what you have in mind and a person will write back.
